Leaders of the Portland NAACP, James Posey, and Pastor J.W. Matt Hennessee, condemned the incident and demanded clarity from KGW-TV regarding the occurrence. Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler also weighed in, urging the station to address the issue promptly and ensure such an oversight is not repeated.
