Activists disrupt Christmas morning with protests outside officials’ residences
Early on Christmas morning, several groups of pro-Palestinian protesters gathered outside the homes of government officials, causing a significant police presence in the area. The demonstrations, organized by various organizations opposed to Israel’s conflict with Hamas terrorists, aimed to draw attention to the ongoing crisis.
Chants and Calls for Action Echo Through the Streets
One far-left organization, The People’s Forum, shared video clips of the protests on social media. In one of the clips, protesters can be heard shouting, “Austin, Austin, rise and shine,” referring to Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin. The group also encouraged their supporters to join the “All out for Palestine! Christmas is cancelled” demonstration in New York City, requesting attendees to bring candles, rubble, and materials for a nativity scene.
Other organizations also utilized social media platforms to voice their support for the Christmas Day protests. The non-partisan group Stop Antisemitism condemned the actions, stating, “Pro-Palestinian agitators show up to Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin’s home and harass him, as well as his entire neighborhood, this Christmas morning. We’re not sure who needs to hear this but harassing a four-star general who has served his country his entire career will not ‘Free Palestine.’”
Police Threaten Arrests as Tensions Escalate
As the protests grew more disruptive, authorities warned the protesters that they would face arrest if they did not disperse. It remains unclear whether the targeted officials were present at their residences during the disturbances. The White House has not yet responded to requests for comment from Fox News Digital.
