Super Bowl Champ Ventures into Entertainment Industry
Travis Kelce, the Super Bowl champion, is venturing into the world of Hollywood with his debut as an executive producer. His first project, “My Dead Friend Zoe,” is set to have its world premiere at the South by Southwest Film Festival in Austin, Texas in March. The film, a darkly comedic drama, features stars such as Ed Harris, Sonequa Martin-Green, and Natalie Morales, all credited as executive producers alongside Kelce. Directed and co-written by Kyle Hausmann-Stokes, the movie is scheduled to debut on March 9 at the festival.
Kelce’s Hollywood Aspirations
Kelce, known for his high-profile relationship with Taylor Swift, has expressed his interest in exploring the entertainment industry after his appearance on “Saturday Night Live” last year. He mentioned that while football has been his primary focus, there have been talks about potential Hollywood projects. Kelce revealed that his preferred genre is comedy, stating, “I’m comedy all the way. I just like to have a fun time and make people laugh.”
Despite not having a distributor lined up for wider release yet, Kelce’s foray into Hollywood is already garnering attention and excitement in the industry.
